Hooray for random elephants in the background. And wow, this is gonna be a tough contest to judge, so many wonderful entries! I love how everyone came up with something different.

If need, it can also be 3840x2880, but I don't see why anyone would want that, honestly :/

Just a reminder that there's only 13 hours left of the contest now. If you're still working on an entry, hurry!

I'd also like to hear if there's anybody who'd really need an extension to the deadline. I was talking with one of the people helping me host the contest and he thinks the current deadline was too early. But I'm personally not sure... I'm worried people would get annoyed if the deadline fluctuates a lot. But anyway, if anyone's got any input feel free to let me know.

I, unfortunately, will not be finished before the contest ends- if it were extended, I'd be able to finish, but...

I think that at this point, further extensions might be unfair to people who have already submitted things early, seeing as they had less time to work with. If people who rushed to finish before this deadline are ok with an extension, then I'd love to have one.

Otherwise, can't wait to see who wins! I'll still finish mine whether there is an extension or not, put too much work into it to just abandon the project- I have a feeling that even when its over people will still be posting them, just for fun

Well, I still have to wait until tomorrow before I can actually talk with the other people who are gonna help me judge this contest. You could do some more work on your wip and post that within tomorrow and I wouldn't mind adding it to the contest. You're also free to keep it black'n'white or something like that.

Well, as you can see, I really only have the top half of the girl colored ^^

But thanks, I'll submit what I have, better than nothing, right? The colors are all out of whack and I didn't finish the warriors face or hair and... you know what? I'll stop whining now

Here is what I've got at the moment, at 40% resolution:

As a note, the cloak on the elementalist was going to be colored to look like the night sky complete with glowing stars and stuff, because even though its cliche its also amazing and I wanted to see how it would look. I'd only just started laying in a background color on it- normally I never color things in one big block like that. On that note though, the only way I see myself finishing this in time is if I go the quick way and just use big blocks of somewhat shaded colors- I'll do that to make everything look less unfinished, and post it tomorrow morning.
